Directions to Indigo Ballroom

 

Since its inception in 1999, Indigo Ballroom has provided a unique, high level of service to our customers. We work hard to provide the right environment for learning and fun. Two ballrooms total an impressive 5,200 square feet occupying an entire floor in one of Somerville’s historic downtown buildings. The hip “Coco Loco” Latin Lounge, pictured below, was designed with a tropical twist, where the Main Ballroom exudes style and sophistication.

Indigo instructors teach any Latin or Ballroom dance in both International or American Styles as well as Hustle, Salsa and Argentine Tango. The ballroom offers group and private instruction, as well as intensive workshops. Our Club Indigo and Dance Extra Programs allows students to take an unlimited amount of groups. We like to balance our identity as a social studio with high level professional instruction. Our instructors are competitive in both the International and American Styles of dancing. Indigo regularly invites top professionals to the studio for the purpose of choreography and coaching.

Indigo Ballroom is known for it's action packed events such as our weekly Friday Social and our "Debut of the Stars" Studio Showcase where students show just how much they have learned by graduating to the next level of dance proficiency.
