Peter Vaco

• Peter begun dancing at age 9 in his native Slovakia.

• At age 15 Peter started to study Musical Acting, Singing, and Dancing in a special Conservatory for Gifted artists.

• Throughout his study Peter continued his success with competing in the International Latin and Standard Styles

• After ariving in the United States in 1996 Peter started teaching as a Dance Instructor for the Fred Astaire chain of dance studios

• He trained and worked with the worlds top Coaches

• Later worked as a Dance Choreographer with prestigious Broadway Stars

• In 1999 Peter and Clea Carchia founded Indigo Ballroom Dance Studio

• In 2001 started competing professionaly in the Show Dance and American Smooth Divisions

• Peter holds the title of 2002 US National Professional Classic Show Dance Finalist

• In 2005 Peter became co-owners of Indigo Ballroom with Michele Termini and now serves as creative director

Andrew and Yvette Hacke

Andrew and Yvette have both been dancing for about 25 years. They have been a competitive couple since 1990. Together they have competed in many national and international competitions. Their titles include 4 time Slovakian National Champions and Semi-Finalists of the European and World Formation Teams in the Latin American style. They have been teaching since 1988 and are proficient in both the American & International Styles of Ballroom dancing.

Oksana Tryakina

Oksana has been dancing for over 20 years, beginning her career in Tashkent-City, Uzbekistan where she was 2-time champion of the Middle East. Oksana was a member of a successful formation group with whom she
won many competitions. In 1991 her and her partner were among the best three couples at the International Spring Festival in North Korea. 
 
In 1992 Oksana opened a dance school for children, where she trained young amateur performers for competition. In 1995 Oksana danced a ten-dance program where she placed 24th over 186 couples at the Russian
Open Championship in Moscow. Oksana danced professionally with Peter for several years and has been working for Indigo Ballroom since 1999.
